This Alpha Force meets numerous ASTM standards: for protective toe, electrical hazard, puncture resistance and impact and compression, but these work boots are not heavy. This is achieved with a composite toe and a lenzi puncture-resistant plate. A composite toe is lighter than steel, yet fully meets CSA requirements for impact and compression resistance. The full-length Lenzi insole is lighter and more flexible than steel, yet fully meets CSA requirements for Puncture Resistance.
